With a good covering of fresh snow and cold conditions, the Crib Lem or Llech Ddu spur is a great choice for an early season winter climb. It's grade 2 but never too hard but with some entertaining sections to keep the interest up. With a traverse of the Carneddau afterwards it makes for a great winter mountaineering day. The perfect choice for me to showcase a bit of Welsh Winter to Andy.
