Snowdon Horseshoe

Always a gamble when you plan to do a route as weather dependant as Crib Goch. It's no place to be in high winds so it always pays to have a plan B when mountaineering, often a plan C or D too. Today, however, the weather played ball for me and Tarquin to guide a team around the horseshoe - in fact if you could have created your own weather it would have probably looked like today's. It was perfect. The ridge was dry with occasional cloud here and there to add to the atmosphere and give us a few Brocken Spectres, magical. A pretty much perfect day with a brilliant team.
