Last week I was once again working for Joint Service Mountain Training, here in Snowdonia on a Summer Mountaineering Foundation course. It's not often you get 5 days in the mountains without hardly a drop of rain, especially in November but this week we have enjoyed great weather every day.
Throughout the course we were looking at mountain navigation, route planning, dealing with emergencies and expedition skills. A super keen group, the good weather and some fine mountain walking made for a brilliant week, thanks.
Checking the map en route to Cnicht.
Heading towards Carnedd Llewelyn during the overnight expedition.
Heading down off Pen Yr Ole Wen, looking over to Tryfan and the Glyderau.
